Great Room
This view is looking into the great room area from the kitchen. Notice the hand
laid stone hearth rests against the Douglas fir post on either side of the hearth.
All of the windows are Pella Designer Series using hard tempered glass and are coated
to keep UVA and UVB rays from entering the house. The ceiling height is about 28'.
Notice the round Pella window at the top end of the great room. This too is a double
paned insulated window using tempered glass. You might also notice the railings
outside on the surround porch.

Construction Details:
Timber frame is recycled Douglas fir taken from Canada. Flooring is recycled longleaf
southern yellow pine from a salvaged sugar mill. Pella Designer Series windows using
tempered glass.
